The Max Planck Institute of Immunobiology and Epigenetics in Freiburg, Germany has an opening for a Database and Web Developer to start as soon as possible and is available for an initial two-year appointment. Permanent employment is sought.
In close collaboration with scientific infrastructure and core-IT, you will be developing and maintaining a growing number of web services and databases and repositories for the analysis of large-scale proteomics, metabolomics, FACS and bioimaging data. Your tasks will include:
We are looking for a motivated team player with strong communication skills and the desire to work in a dynamic environment. Prior experience with Django and OMERO, and project development in the context of an –omics or bioimaging core facility is a strong plus.
